eBay | 1942 WWII Levi’s S506 XX First Edition Jacket

This WWII era jacket finished on a huge $2,325 (Approximately £1,490.77). It’s origin, the seller claims was in a flea market in California! One hell of a find if you ask me! The identifying feature on this jacket being the laurel leaves on the donut hole buttons. These were used instead of the standard Levi Strauss & Co embossing to represent peace and legend has it the donut hole shape was used so save on materials for the war effort. Notice also that there is no flap on the pocket like other 40’s “Firsts” Levi’s Jackets.  Shame the patch is missing.
